SC involved....finally!

".....The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to the Centre questioning the basis on which a policy decision to implement 27 per cent reservation was taken.

The court sought the response from the government on how it would deal with the matter and the basis for identifying the OBCs, besides the rationale for adoption of norms. The court granted eight weeks to the government to file a counter-affidavit on the implementation of the policy.


Following the decision above the Supreme Court has appealed to the agitating medicos to call off their strike considering that it had decided to examine the matter..... "
